It's been a while

It's been a while since I posted anything here. I started homeschooling my oldest daughter and while it's been fun it has taken away time from scrapping Things have changed with my scrapping too, I accepted a position to be on a store creative team which means that I make layouts for them and in exchange I get the whole store for free. Here is a link to the store I am working with now. I really love it, it's been fun getting to know designers there and the rest of the creative team.

I had to drop some of my other creative teams so I can have more time for Pickleberrypop. But I am still with Kristin Cronin-Barrow and Julie Billingsley from the Sweet Shop and Tracie Stroud and Megan Turnidge from Scrap Orchard. I am also doing some guest creative teams. This month I am a guest for MDesigns from the French Frog and Digital Crea and next month for Cinnamon Designs at After Five Designs. Battle of the creative teams

Battle of the creative teams is a contest that I am participating in at http://digiscrapaddicts.com/forum/. It will last 4 weeks and our team just finished our first challenge. It was on the use of white space which is basically negative space you leave on your page. The point is that "white space" should draw you into the photos and layout. It doesn't have to be white, just empty. It's should bring somewhat of a dramatic effect.
So I am posting this hoping some of you that read this blog will vote for my team, the Cowbell Crew. Here is the page with our layouts

What's new?!

The biggest news around here is that Alexis started crawling two days ago. I would've been happy if she had waited another month or two but she was getting very frustrated with not being able to move so this is better. We are in trouble now, she gets into everything :)

Zoo

We took the girls to the zoo yesterday. They had so much fun, I think their favorite animals there are the monkeys. They loved watching them and the monkeys had fun watching our girls :)
My favorite part was the tigers, one of them put on quite the show for us. He climbed a tree, ran and roared at us. Here is a picture of the tiger.
